So yeah, that's the entire 220 card list. With so many reprints of great competitive cards, there's no reason to buy some packs and pull some. However with this, many player's cards will go down in price so you might as well get the original print over the common ones.

Hope you are as psyched about this as I am!

  1. with only one out of fifty chance to drop TGU this is not the "now everybody can pay it" republication than we wished.
However, the new way to make a tournament might be fun. I'm gonna test it with my friends

  2. The actual odds of getting a Tour guide is about 1/30-35. The ratios for many of the cards are different. It's unlikely you will pull more than 1 Tiras or Adreus from one box since they are supposedly 5 times more difficult to pull than the other xyz in the set (As said by Konami on their article website).

But you're right, it will take a structure or starter deck to get it to the level where everyone can use it. $20-30 for a rare is crazy and needing 3 just adds to the pain.

  3. What makes TGU so great? Sorry I'm a noob.

  4. Welcome to my blog Evil me. Allow me to quickly list why the card is so good.

    - It allows you to summon a monster from your deck, just by summoning it. You can get a sangan which lets you replace the tour guide which you summoned. Essentially, tour guide becomes a free monster search which strengthens your hand on your next turn.
    - It allows you to xyz into all different kinds of fun. Zenmaines for defence, Leviathan dragon for Attack power and Leviair to combo with other cards, Like rescue rabbit.
    - it's a dark for Allure and Black Luster Soldier.

There's other reasons but those 3 are in my opinion, the 3 best ones to explain why the card is so amazing right now. I hope it gets limited in september and because of the Battle pack, I think that might just happen.
